Barcelona is one of the most important Mediterranean cities and touristic capital of Spain. The city is situated on the coast, in a large valley between Pyrenees and Serra de Collserola mountain ranges on the latitude 41° 23′ N. Barcelona climate is typically Mediterranean, with mild, humid winters and warm, dry summers.

The winter in Barcelona is relatively humid but mild. The average temperature between November and March is about 10 to 15 degrees Celsius (50 to 60 Fahrenheit), while the maximum temperature could go up to 13 to 17 degrees Celsius (55 to 65 Fahrenheit). Snowfalls are not common, but could happen if the winter is cold.

Spring weather in Barcelona:
Between the dry months – end of winter (February, March) and beginning of summer (June and July) – there is a short rainy season in April and May. Temperatures in spring are between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius (60 to 70 Fahrenheit).

Summer weather Barcelona Spain:
In Barcelona, you can enjoy 3 months of the dry summer – perfect conditions for your holidays. The main reason for this is the sinking air of the subtropical highs. Months June and July are usually quite dry, while in there could be some summer storms in August. Summer temperatures are between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius (60 to 85 Fahrenheit), but you should also expect several days of extreme high temperatures.

Autumn weather in Barcelona Spain:
Once the warm summer ends, the Barcelona weather turns to more humid and wet. Months September, October and November are usually the wettest months of the year. The average temperature is gradually dropping from 22 to 16 degrees Celsius (72 to 60 Fahrenheit).
